I was nervous about it, but I did it. I just spent a week on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica with family and friends, and I left my Nikon gear at home. I figured if the image quality of the E-P3 is not up to snuff it would only be for vacation snapshots anyway. Overall I was very pleased with the performance of the E-P3.
We're on a mission to experience the "mother road" and come back with images that we love. Several members of our camera club have recent become infatuated with the Olympus E-P3 and other micro 4/3 cameras and lenses. A few of us intend to only bring along these small camera systems and make photos and video within their limitations.

HDR on Las Vegas Boulevard
So, it wasn't until I got home that I realized that I didn't bracket that many shots for HDR with the E-P3 during our recent vacation. I'm quite disappointed about that now because after seeing this shot, the files are very well suited to HDR. My original idea here was to frame the image to include some light streaks as cars went by. I didn't have a wide enough lens for this location, so I intended to try again later. Somehow, that never happened. We really kept on the move, so I'm looking forward to the return trip in February to take a little more time since photography will be the focus of the visit.
